Newmark Reps Panattoni In 48,000 SF Lease Deal
Newmark announced a new 47,545-square-foot lease for Coulisse Distribution at Eastview Commerce Center (ECC) in Miami.
Newmark’s Executive Managing Directors Steve Medwin and Nick Wigoda and Associate John Mejia represented the landlord, Panattoni Development, and Les Byron at SVN represented the tenant.
“This relocation for Coulisse Distribution will allow them to expand their space and better serve their customer base,” said Wigoda. “Even during these uncertain times, there is strength in the industrial market, especially when it comes to businesses needing quality properties like Panattoni’s state-of-the-art, master-planned industrial park.”
Coulisse Distribution’s new space will be in Building 6 of Eastview Commerce Center and is an expansion and consolidation of their Broward County warehouse and Brickell Avenue office space. It features brand-new tilt-wall construction with 32′ clear ceiling heights, located within a fully-secured, master-planned 800,000-square-foot business park. This transaction marks the tenth lease signed at the project since Newmark began working with the landlord on the development project totaling nearly 570,000 square feet.

“This lease is proof of concept that redeveloping a defunct golf course into a cutting-edge, gated business park can also improve a neighborhood,” said Hayne Hamilton, Development Partner for Panattoni Development Company. “ECC has become an economic driver for the area as it welcomes local, national and multi-national companies and workers with efficient, modern facilities close to customers and transportation infrastructure.”
Eastview Commerce Center is a state-of-the-art business park comprised of six buildings, totaling 800,000 square feet situated on 80 acres. The project sits on a transformed portion of the former Westview Golf Course and offers tenants gated access with lush, tropical landscaping. The buildings feature 32′ clear ceiling height, abundant dock doors, 185’ shared truck courts and ample car parking for employees and visitors. Tenants at ECC also have quick access to the major highways, airports and seaports in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
